Project Overview

This 1980s Hollywood Hills residence lacked the open flow and seamless indoor-outdoor access the homeowners desired for raising their family. They turned to econstruct to remodel and expand the home to optimize it for contemporary living.

We collaborated to reimagine the layout, opening up interior spaces and expanding the footprint to improve functionality. Dated elements were stripped away to create clean, elegant finishes. We integrated state-of-the-art smart home technology while preserving charming original details like fireplaces and wood ceilings.

The outdated galley kitchen transitioned into a spacious chef’s kitchen and gathering hub. A expansive new island with quartz surfaces and high-end appliances offers ample prep space. Visual connection to the family room facilitates multitasking while entertaining.

Perfect for Southern California living, the remodel also focused on seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor areas. New sliding glass walls open to the backyard patio and pool area. The pool was resurfaced and a freestanding spa provides a private relaxation oasis. A new built-in barbecue kitchen makes al fresco dining a breeze.

Our in-house design team helped select high-end finishes and fixtures befitting the home’s prime location. Custom built-ins, statement light fixtures, and designer paint colors optimized the aesthetic. Meticulous construction management ensured the project stayed on time and on budget every step of the way.
