Constructing a Sleek New Cocktail Lounge in the Heart of LA

Project Overview

When hospitality group Creekstone Partners envisioned an upscale cocktail lounge in central Los Angeles, they selected econstruct as the restaurant contractor to bring this swanky new concept to life. We collaborated closely to build Hutchinson Cocktails & Grill from the ground up.

Sited along a trendy stretch of La Cienega Boulevard, the space demanded an atmosphere equal parts modern elegance and old Hollywood glam. Our econstruct design team crafted plans for a luminous, free-flowing interior using quality finishes like exposed brick, vintage mirrors, and art deco-inspired lighting.

The lounge’s focal point, an expansive blue onyx bar, makes a bold statement. Custom leather and velvet booth seating provides an inviting, intimate vibe. For private events, the space transforms with the addition of luxe furnishings and décor. Our millwork artisans also fabricated beautiful live-edge wood tables throughout the dining room.

We equipped the state-of-the-art bar program with top-tier equipment to concoct Hutchinson’s extensive cocktail and spirits menu. The sleek open kitchen provides views of dishes being meticulously plated.

Meticulous project management ensured the new build was delivered on time, on budget, and ready for its grand debut. The finished restaurant provides an enticing escape in the heart of the city through its moody ambiance and elevated yet approachable service.
